Privacy
We collect only what we need to make your creative, and nothing for advertising.

Who we are
Screenmotive is run by Herman Bjørheim, who is the data controller for this website and our orders. Contact: hello@screenmotive.app. TODO: add business name / organisation number once registered
What we collect
- Brief form: your name, email, app name, App Store link, the link to your materials, and the notes you write.
- Materials: the recordings, screenshots, icons and brand files you share with us.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, amount and payment status. We never see or store your full card details.
- Email: the messages we exchange about your order.
What we don’t do
This site uses no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t add you to marketing lists. TODO: update if analytics (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics) is added
Why we use it
To deliver the service you ordered (contract), to handle payments, refunds and accounting (legal obligation), and to answer your questions (legitimate interest).
Who processes it for us
- Stripe — payments
- Our form provider — receiving the brief form (TODO: name the provider, e.g. Formspree)
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Our email provider — order communication (TODO: name provider)
Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Your materials and working files are deleted within 90 days of the order being completed, unless you ask us to keep them for future updates. Order and payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires (currently five years in Norway). TODO: confirm retention periods
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, or your local supervisory authority.
Portfolio
We never show client work publicly without your explicit permission. You can opt in on the brief form to let us show your before and after and ask you for a short testimonial. It’s optional, doesn’t affect your price, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. If you opt in, the testimonial is your genuine opinion, in your own words. We won’t write it for you, and we’ll only shorten it with your OK.
